Bio

I am a researcher in public health data science and systems modeling in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California. I use novel data sources to model food systems, with applications in food safety and public health precision nutrition. My research aims to investigate how food systems can be improved to increase nutrition equity and reduce diseases of diet.

I am also actively involved in COVID-19 epidemic modeling in Los Angeles County. I collaborate with the Department of Public Health to understand drivers of disparities in outcomes of the epidemic.
